@Ronnie21093 @supersid333 @Iffine @LoliHat @Nanakoko So I've read a bit more about this and I'll be going Tinkerer 3 (Visionary 3) and Entropy 2 (Lucky Seven and Ritual Entropism). I'll be Houdini'ing myself with Ritual Entropism and I'll make tons of bombs with Visionary 3.
Eventually I'll get a Rogue 1 for See You Later (Alligator), so the Houdini'ism will become even more exaggerated.

@Iffine @Immahnoob @LoliHat @Nanakoko @Ronnie21093 Also sleep is for the weak, I got sidetracked on something

@Immahnoob @Ronnie21093 @LoliHat @Nanakoko @supersid333 >Visionary 3
Where are the bomb subsidies coming from? :cirno_think:

@Iffine @Immahnoob @LoliHat @Nanakoko @Ronnie21093 From the Rebellion that you guys are actively working for I'd suppose. Otherwise Houdini overthere is pulling some magic out of his ass to make them. Like Ronnie said though, the world is mildly a bit of a blank canvas atm. I actively invite you to suggest aspects of it to metaphorically dye in your colors.

@Iffine @LoliHat @Nanakoko @Ronnie21093 @supersid333 Houdini Meguman (TemporaryNameTM) is an Entropist, I assure you, other dimensions have much needed resources for my bombs.
(It's mostly the rebellion)

@Ronnie21093 @Immahnoob @LoliHat @Nanakoko @supersid333 Thinking about it in terms of a rebellion, my character might be a little screwed as he is, but it could easily be resolved if the empire were to be controlling magitech for their own benefit or some such reason. His motivations require a lot more freedom than just making weapons for the empire's use.
Though your original idea could possibly work with the idea of a empire rebellion setting assuming other countries still exist at the time of the campaign starting. You might just need to change the why of your actions to join the group, maybe involuntary instead of voluntary :flan_think:

@Iffine @Ronnie21093 @Immahnoob @LoliHat @Nanakoko It is fully worth noting that I say "rebellion" but that the empire as of the time of playing will be near the start of it's invasion. More Northern regions will still be separate and eager to fund people who might help them stay such.

@Immahnoob @Iffine @LoliHat @Nanakoko @supersid333 I'm thinking of going as a Loremaster 3 (Focused, Knowledge Is Power, Quick Assessment) and Sharpshooter 2 (Crossfire, Barrage)
As for the character herself, I'll need to come up with something, since I'm doubtful my original idea would work with a rebellion.

@LoliHat @Ronnie21093 @Iffine @Nanakoko @supersid333 So we're all mages after all. :kekw:

Perused the provided PDF books. Still working on the character sheet details, but here's a rough idea of my character:
At a young age, his stuffed animal was his only true friend. One day the people of the village started acting weird in an "uncanny valley" sense and he hid with his stuffed animal. After a night hiding alone with his stuffed animal for company, he returned to the village to find everyone mysteriously dead and dread aura pervading the village.
Fleeing in terror with his stuffed animal, he wondered helplessly without fresh water and only questionable vegetation to eat. It is at this point that his stuffed animal started talking to him (and would only thereafter talk to him directly in his head), and told him of the wonders that the mysterious Æther of the Heavens hold and how they (with the help of said questionable vegetation) would help guide him to his place in the greater scheme of things and a spiritually fulfilling future to boot.
So, either a schizo magic-slinging druggie, as many might think, or a serene mage with direct spiritual guidance/companionship with a relationship similar to Firestorm from the "Superfriends", Mr. Floppy/Jack from "Unhappily Ever After", or Data/Freud from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Phantasm".
