Caught the mapping bug again and didn't think I'd pick things up again this quick. Just like riding a bike. In and out, 2 hour deathmatch map, light work. cc @crunklord420
@crunklord420 Even though it's meant to be played with by palettes in the custom engine, the black-and-white aesthetic is really cool when everything's lit enough and it really helps the colors (armors, health, grenades) pop a lot. In theory that's true with other players too, but I still gotta playtest it. Also I don't know what wizardry you did to get the skybox to be trippy like it is in Vacation, but I couldn't find that texture in the wad. I got either solid blue or the quake default skybox.
@idiot the trick is that the engine doesn't actually use the textures inside the BSP. It's just names and UVs. Not all of the textures in the Quake WAD are representative of ingame graphics.
