   yesssss, mipi dsi output works on the rk3588, which means we can get rk3588 for pocket reform. the key was to disable vop_mmu. and thanks to heiko stübner for sending me his wip patches so i could compare everything!

     @josch it depends. i personally prefer the HDMI adapter because it made stuff like EDK2 just work :D

     @mntmn Uuuh sweet! But that also means that it will fit in the big reform without requiring a hdmi converter, which is another big plus, no?

     Why not use the mipi dsi support in rk3588 edk2?
     Due to the per display config specific build it currently requires?

     @DenJohn that's certainly an option, but i'm not familiar with edk2 codebase yet in order to customize it
