Corporatist women need to keep recharging their batteries, talking about how they’re killing it and living the dream every day. They don’t realize they’re unhappy, that they need to keep brainwashing themselves into enjoying something that would otherwise be untenable without all their distractions and cheerleading.

     @RupertvonRipp @Nou I’ve generally eschewed it, but it’s become the norm for so long I just enjoy it now. We have a diff. dynamic though, I’m gone for days at a time, so it helps her feel like I’m not gonna stray if she reminds me what’s waiting for me at home. If I saw her every day, then maybe I’d shrug it off as too much of a risk, but things are working out okay this way

     @Boomerman @RupertvonRipp @Nou They’re attuned to the sexual arms race of their kind, constantly looking and comparing themselves to every other woman in the world whether online, local, and hypothetical.

     They can see the level of horniness everywhere too, the ubiquity of skanks and porn, it’s not all that surprising that she wants me to focus my attentions on HER and her alone.

     (Part of it is also her fear that I’m always surrounded by women on the road - she seems to think there are tons of girls in our line of work, as if I’m flying for southwest in Dallas and it’s 1977. )

The current 3 part treatment is 99% effective, but sometimes someone get's bit by a foaming at the mouth racoon with a viral load so massive that the old treatment is the only thing that works.
