I mean, if you go around attacking people constantly for no reason, people that have never done shit to anyone ever, they're gonna go on the offensive at some point and start tossing shit right back.
@1ns0mniak@ChristiJunior@Senator_Armstrong@Gustodon That's the thing, we don't have mob rule. What we have is very top down, it's very authoritarian, and frankly we're seeing the bad side of authoritarianism because we're seeing what happens when the authority is evil. If we had mob rule, parents who don't want their children learning to be trannies would just be getting their way outright. We'd be having a moral panic over this, accusing people who aren't trannies of being trannies in the closet because they come off as a little effete sometimes, and blah blah blah.
You can't just label an autocratic Judeo-Communist dictatorship a "democracy" and expect people to take it seriously. It isn't a democracy if the elections are rigged. It's not a monarchy if the monarch has no direct policymaking power. It's not a junta if the military is "underfunded." And so on. To qualify as something, you need to actually fit the bill.
What we have in America today is what I just described it as. You might also want to call it wokeism or something if you want to avoid the JQ in its naming. But the point is just because they call it Our Democracy doesn't actually make it a democracy. It's a mental trick to get you to think that it's either automatically legitimate because they call it a democracy (if you're a hylic), or to think that democracies in general aren't legitimate because they called this illegitimate thing a democracy (if you're a psychic)
@1ns0mniak@ChristiJunior@Senator_Armstrong@Gustodon We don't have effective democracies in the West, because the elections are rigged. The people in our circles who complain about "democracy" aren't really complaining about actual democracy, they're complaining about what we have in the West that we call democracy. The same thing applies to "capitalism" considering how much the government meddles in the economy. Calling America a Democratic Republic today is like calling the United Kingdom a monarchy. On paper, maybe. But not really. Come on now.
@1ns0mniak@ChristiJunior@Senator_Armstrong@Gustodon Yeah and the thing is, this kind of psychopathic movement has a life cycle. Currently we're at the "you ain't gonna do shit" phase, but they kind of have an even more megalomaniacal phase where they make it clear that you can't comply your way out of their power plays, at which point people do start doing shit because there's no other choice. Basically, my point is that normies are really passive and obedient until they aren't
Thing is, idk, people that are comfortable tend not to rile up too much, but they often stop voting in ways that they may have previously because they're pissed.
