     @ACL9000 @tyler If you wait a bit we have a MOSAIC overhaul coming, will expand LS capabilities so you can use planes that don't suck hind tit. Last draft I saw was retractables, CSprops, and 4 seats (only 2 occupied), which lets you go a lot longer in living w/ the plane. Can't have many adventures when you're limited to a 4 square foot of shelf and a 24-lb max

     Get the PPL too, unless you're going to hop around in little ULs, insurance rewards it and you get to add ratings easier, LS instructor time is basically worthless

     @tyler I really want to play with old gear, just to touch it, and see where it leads.
     
     Two things I really want to work on but never have any time or money, really, are PPL, or at least a Light Sport qualification, and understanding the radio stuff, and getting licensed. I do have the big ARRL reference book, at least.
     
     I might not really start either one for a couple more years, just 'cause of money, but I suppose if dark brandon isn't going to exterminate us now that he gets no second term, perhaps I have time.

     Ive offered to buy people their first radios after getting licensed but they always act weird about it.
     
     I made a contact with a guy in an airplane yesterday. We talked about aviation stuff. It was neat.
     
     Developing digital modes is a lot of fun too if you're a nerd.
