I should note that IRL I would likely also find myself to be one of these people who is uninteresting to talk to. Real life in the modern world is primarily for waging and solitary pursuits/hobbies. Unless you're somebody who exists within acceptable norms of the system or among the small fraction of those who are truly financially independent there's far too much on the line to risk being who you really are in public most of the time.
