   I personally just use mouse and keyboard, but I've worked with people who have this kind of thing going, so I don't know the ins and outs. Presumably they scrub the timeline, cut, select, delete, etc with the stick and do everything else with the macro pad. Presumably you bind the stick with JoyToKey or something.

     I honestly should get into macro spergery, I never even use ahk or anything I feel like a gorilla nigger. Main reason honestly is because I'm hopping around a half dozen programs most days so I can never really get into the flow of one.

     premiere also officially supports EUCON and Mackie, but it looks like it's just for audio.

     someone else I've worked with used an elgato streamdeck for editing, looked like it worked pretty well. Effectively I think it was just saving keystrokes, though. Not really doing anything that crazy
