@writerethink I’m so sorry for your loss, Whitney. Lots of love from the Emerald Isle.

Whitney (writerethink@wandering.shop)'s status on Friday, 03-Mar-2023 16:38:48 JST Whitney Cancer sucks. We lost an incredible human yesterday. Stacey was a dear “pocket friend”, part of my early circle of internet knitters, who I came to know as a force of nature: so kind, so fierce, so thoughtful, so determined, so strong, so open. I’m so glad to have known her, and so heartbroken for her sons and her spouse and everyone who loves her.

Whitney (writerethink@wandering.shop)'s status on Friday, 03-Mar-2023 16:39:19 JST Whitney In one of Stacey’s greatest gifts to this world (she offered too many to list), she shared what for her was a terrifying close call in which her young son was buried alive in sand at the beach. I think if this post often, have shared this post many times, and it’s why I fill holes at beaches. So I share her words here, too, in her memory. https://earthchicknits.com/2007/07/16/the-worst-five-minutes-of-my-life/?fbclid=IwAR1b-o3RinYU29btxKSsMTLV6bImjahMgKTgc_KURoelP8W-jEohw2AC4tA
