@pernia Still happens on upstream FE last time I checked, it always loads the timeline and notifs *with* muted threads, and then hides them separately instead of loading the endpoint that excludes muted ones like bloat does.

tabs crash every time i load notifs, this shit, notifs aren't even loaded automatically i have to click "load more" 15 times. what even

@mint @pernia why doesn't pleroma Fe, the main default Fe for pleroma, ever use the backend API correctly? it isn't just this either, it's a consistent theme too including search and other things. It's extremely slow to adopt new features too and took like a whole year (or at least 6 months) after lists were added to the backend before it was added to pleroma fe.

@icscarythings @pernia Frontend is developed pretty much separately from the rest of the project, so here's that. The pace has picked up recently, but I'm not a fan of the three column layout and the lack of compatibility with older browsers.

@pernia You can still fully hide muted threads together with users by checking the deceitfully named "Hide posts of muted users" option, apparently.
