     @brokeassredneck I'm trying not to think about the guy down the street as a kid, he had one of those Viper engined dodges, sold it for an absolute pittance because he lost it all in '08 and just needed liquid cash (or so the rumor goes)

     My dad asked him about it and wanted it until he heard about the milage, supposedly scared everyone away because they thought we'd have $8/gal gas forever

     Kind of kick myself for not pushing him to buy it though, I thought cars would keep getting better

     @brokeassredneck He had some cool offers over the years, always turned his nose up because it wasn't NEW and FAST. He'd ignore cool stuff like NSX, 3000GTs and 944s in favor of an R32 or vette. Didn't hold on to any of it for long, either.

     It's just haunting when you look at your childhood dream cars and realize they'll cost as much as a house if we get another bullrun
