     @WashedOutGundamPilot @anime_outdoor Ty for anime boy for devaluing that Porsche to the point I can afford it when you're 50k mile engine service hits and you don't have money to spend forcing you to sell a perfectly good car (engine / transmission wise) that can be bought for 30% of sticker because modifying your car absolutely kills it's value 90% of the time. You can approach this guy and talk about alllll the time and effort required to unfuck this monstrosity and likely the hackjob wiring done to it.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @anime_outdoor I never once insisted on period correct ANYTHING. I modify cars to my taste nigga. I don't give a FUCK about matching VIN'S nigga. I put engines from different manufacturers in my cars homie. I be DESECRATING SHIT on the regular. I just like when other people do it so I can pretend to be a purist and jew them down by thousands because in the end, modifying a car does kill it's value.

     All the millennial collectorfags I know IRL have taken on this bizarre obsession with their cars as investments instead of a lovable steed, it's a real boomerfication of the hobby. A car should be molded to you, such that anyone who gets in flips out in frustration because of how it doesn't jive with them

     I'd rather see this thing out there getting loved and abused, than know it's sitting untouched in the back of some collector's safe

     @anime_outdoor @WashedOutGundamPilot Of course not however a wrapped car is naturally devalued by people looking to buy a car because they have to spend time and money to pull the wrap off if it's not what they're looking for. Also a lot of times wraps can be used by unscrupulous sellers to hide scratches dings dents and rust and obviously you can't pull a wrap off someone else's car before you buy it and they aren't going to refund you money if the exterior is all fucked up after you pull it off so it's a crap shoot. For that reason alone a wrap will devalue a car.

     @catmanmancat @anime_outdoor I always suspect the wrap will be done poorly, so it captures dirt underneath to debride the paint the whole time, not sure if it plays out though. Only ever wrapped bikes

     I literally had to cut down my last "collector" to about 70% asking, because it being all original scared too many people off, apparently. Meanwhile I know this jerkass who's had a mint M3 in his garage for 10 years without ever driving it, it's all an "investment". Painful to see

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @anime_outdoor That being said, if I bought this car the wrap, the TV, the subwoofers, the lighting all that shit has to go. I like sleepers & cars that aren't visually loud. I like to go fast without a ridiculous wrap or paintjob. I love car culture and modifying them.
