     @givenup I was just explaining that I'm kinder than her because I'll axe the mouses head off when it gets caught in her glue traps. They aren't a nice way to go at all

     @givenup She is a woman, object permanence isn't a strong suit. It's why they're cute and easily fooled. The slow, depressing process of a rat ripping off its flesh and fur in clumps over a 2-day fight to survive is less sad than simply chopping it at the neck, because the former doesn't require active action on my part.

     It's the fact it's a hands-free death that produces a clean corpse that makes her think it's "kind"

     @WashedOutGundamPilot it's like when slaughtering a farm animal, being squeemish or hesitating causes it to suffer, and its your fault, so get it done.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @givenup Axing them is a more merciful way for them to go. Starving to death is a slow, painful process. I wouldn't wish it on any living creature.
