     @DEERBLOOD @truthaddict it's funny how when I was a libertarian, you hear the 'against me' argument and somehow don't think about what happens when somebody says yes. act incredulous and morally superior? ok, well this person is still ok with using force to make you do what they want. now what?

     @EssentialUtinsil @DEERBLOOD @truthaddict I really hate how they love the idea of owning power when it’s in the form of a firearm, but balk at the idea of taking up government power. They really think they can maintain an equilibrium where there’s a single pistol in a room of hostiles and everyone just agrees not to touch it through a sense of fair play and goodwill towards one another.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @EssentialUtinsil @DEERBLOOD @truthaddict Hank Oslo had a great take on Myth20c that Anglo Saxxon notions of individualistic fair play and "no politics or religion discussed at the bar" is (a part of) what allowed both Brittain and America to become the most powerful forces the world has ever seen but that was because they allowed bonds to form between different types of White people that otherwise would have been divided against each other. Notions like that made it possible to have, say, Catholic Welshmen serve alongside Protestant Scotts in the redcoats, or Appalachian moonshiners serve alongside Southern baptists in the American military, without it becoming an issue. But today that gentlemanly mentality makes Shlomo rub his hands together because it helps makes White men shrug their shoulders at racial aliens occupying their spaces or having access to their women.
