Im relatively sure the WY super volcano is gonna blow & the govt is keeping it quiet.
There’s been this dude on tiktok who found this massive - like miles long crack in the earth by Yellowstone- the entire ground has shifted at least 5 feet.
Anyways - for the last couple months he’s been updating & he even painted lines on the ground to watch the shift.
The man has been invested.
Anyway- he’s disappeared completely from the net. His accounts & everything deleted. People- e.g. Geologists & shit that were in contact with him can’t find him. He’s just gone.
Pretty hinky stuff. :holo_tinfoil:

If you have any more, I would like to see.
I've also been concerned about this area, but not so much. The first signs of an eruption will take years to develop and not just a sudden increase of events. Unless these signs are all being actively ignored.
I tend to filter out a lot of doomsday hype. You can go no further than youtube to see what I'm talking about. Some videos making it seem "certain" or "near future catastrophe" are a common trope. They get re uploaded every 2 weeks, per the meme.
What I do know is the caldera is below the lake. If the geometry of the caldera were to begin changing because of building pressure, the water in the lake would become shallow or even boil off completely.

@lovelymiss @pyrate >I do, however, find it hella hinky that the dude documenting this fault line just disappeared.

It is one thing for a content creator to go silent. Shit happens.
It is more concerning they expended effort to also remove anything he published.

there was that massive hole that formed on the hwy to idaho as well… idk
I don’t put a lot of stock or, worry is probably the better word into doomsday stuff outside the memeability of them - because there’s not a whole lot you could do if they were real.
I mean- the Yellowstone volcano would be on par to the asteroid that wiped out dinosaurs.
I do, however, find it hella hinky that the dude documenting this fault line just disappeared.
