My personal theory is that the early 2000s is when the twin problems of rampant Hollywood nepotism and corporate micromanagement really started to rear their ugly heads.
Basically the studios are now run by Wall Street-type heebs who want everything to be a billion dollar blockbuster. It used to be that studios had a wide range of offerings - ranging from high-budget blockbusters to mid-budget adult thrillers to low budget teenage comedies. Not everything had to be a home run.
Now? Everything has to be a smash hit. We got revenue estimates to meet, goy! Our stock is gonna drop five percent if we don't meet Wall Street predictions! So that's why you see Hollywood continue to run dead, decades old franchises further into the ground. No one wants to give new IPs a shot.
And even if they did, the decline in writing talent is just shocking. Like Lucasfilm legitimately thought a Star Wars show about lesbian nig space witches would actually work.

@DW2 @judgedread Anti White agendas came out of the Jewish management of media in "waves." The first overt examples emerged in 63, and by the mid seventies full scale deconstruction and hatred of the US national identity was freely published. By "our" era, as in the present you've seen a more and more overt agenda creeping into the media each year it's progressed. With the comical heights it reached in the last three years actually receiving massive blow back and a near destruction of the industries in question.

@BroDrillard @judgedread They want to have their cake and eat it too - in other words, they want to push anti-White messaging while making shitloads of money. Notice how they especially target popular IPs for poz. I think they believed that they could get away with it, since those IPs had such large built in fan bases.
Obviously they were wrong, as the recent Star Wars/Marvel flops have shown

By now it's obvious to everybody that woke doesn't sell. If studios wanted every movie to be a smash hit, they wouldn't force woke into every movie. I don't think the "heebs want billion-dollar blockbusters" theory is correct.
