     @Paultron @VIcFury @LostShakerOfSalt The original grip is nice for the cold, gloved hands and whatnot. Everyone in the states shoots in the heat so their guns are always optimized for summer weather

     @Paultron @VIcFury @LostShakerOfSalt I'm talking real cold, the kind you don't go out and shoot in for fun. The AK was designed with that in mind. The ar had the fold down trigger guard for extra clearance, too, but the american market doesn't go out and shoot for fun in inclement weather, and nobody has fought in rain/sleet/freezing temps in decades, so the lessons are lost on us.

     Try shooting a fancy boy race gun with the only gloves you can feel your numbed fingers in and you'll appreciate the spacious accommodations of kalashnikov's trigger guard

     the actual grip itself is so cramped and shit i rate it as needing replacement immediately
     the thicker gloves you wear the more you'll like fat long grip favoring gross motor actions
