@netdoll Damn right! He's such a punchable asshole. I've never liked him. I think he's incompetent. Imagine you had a doctor who only recognized models of physical wellbeing that aligned perfectly with his own, didn't believe a fair chunk of physical health problems actually existed at all, and kept telling patients to "just eat healthy and exercise" instead of actually prescribing them anything or referring them anywhere.
He's a joke. He doesn't qualify as a psychologist. He doesn't understand psychology. I worry for that fucking field. You'd think Carl Jung had never lived.

@errante @hermit @netdoll agp is very real actually in certain groups. The Brazilian hrt seller made testosterone because they wanted to be able to fap while on hrt.
Another friend I have came out after reading Boku girl. They're also the most sane trans person I know.

@netdoll I mean, I think there's no reason why it couldn't exist, it's a plausible paraphilia. It's just, you know, clearly not what's going on in cases of, say, gender dysphoria, and to try and say "no no sweetie you don't understand your desperate need to be a woman in every single aspect of life is just a fetish for having a vagina" is clearly abject nonsense

@errante @hermit @netdoll on the other hand I see far more people coming out as trans from mental trauma reasons. The interesting thing I saw were a few people with crazy sisters and parents treating them differently eventually coming out as trans, and I know one of them mentioned gender dysphoria when thinking "my life would be easier if I were born female" after seeing the sister get treated better.
The endgame of said society being you get dudes like the man legally changing his gender to try to win a custody battle.

@errante @PhenomX6 @hermit Late but I'm just gonna say that wanting a functional sexuality conformable to what you have is in no way shape or form AGP, not every trans person ought to be forced into practical eunuchdom and sexlessness by the particulars of their condition. I do have opinions about what constitutes "valid" AGP (in the clinical sense as opposed to the Blanchardian one) but this in particular is total nonsense.
