Warning idealistic western skanks about how dangerous life is below the equator is a waste of time unless you get physical and literally make them shake with fear. It’s the only way to undo years of superhero-inspired “I’ll just punch the rapist and knock him out!” programming

     @VaxxSabbath @Glow-Squad-Nwah I only ever had to break out the serious “becca, let’s put your super awesome self defense skills to the test, fight for your life because I’m gonna pin you in the next 10 seconds” once or twice. If I was with someone for a while I’d tell them to wear buttoned up pants/jeans/shorts with a belt, nobody gives a shit about sterile fields when you’re surrounded by mud, and white chicks wearing scrubs on south american public transit is NOT a good recipe. Playing a “game” of “I’m gonna pants ya if you show up in pajamas tomorrow” tends to get the point across.

     Thankfully most religious missionary women are frumpy and obese, it always freaked me out seeing them out on the town after dark. I’d be on condition one, step outside, and see these chicks advertising bible study outside the bar. Hopefully the Lord protects, I guess. Always seemed to be begging for trouble for little payoff.
