     it works, we have linux on serial with the imx8mp module (easiest for testing because it runs from emmc). internal usb hub and rp2040 work, too. but now we need to wait for the port board(s) to make this really useful.

     @vidister doesn't fit! although i'll look into possibilities of an alternative keyboard that has a mini trackball instead of middle space

     @mntmn @vidister by the way, what if you add a linear vibration motor to the trackpad module and do trackball emulation like it's done in Steam Deck.
