     @Paultron I'm just distressed there's a term for it. This is how things start, the girls normalize it in their circles, then unleash it on us when its hit critical mass. In 10 years we'll say "fat" and be reflexively corrected "actually that's a body type it's not fat, it's a B-Belly it's supposed to be that way, don't be hateful like that, it's extremely inappropriate!!!"

     @robbie @valence It's the acceptance of failure, reestablishing it as a norm like there's nothing wrong. They get obese sitting around at home, having kids, but that doesn't absolve them of the basic duty to adhere to some level of health.

     Seeing this is like a man who decides he wants to be a twitch streamer, and abandons a $150k/year job to work part time at $19,000/year. Everyone knows he's not keeping his end of the marital deal, neither is she.

     this happens to the body after a couple of kids. Definitely not reversible, takes my wife around 1 - 1.5 years to get back to pre-pregnancy weight, (under 120) but she'll never go back to before our first kid
     
     Some of it is just extra skin so the knife would have to be involved to be 'great' tummy
     
     I don't think you're wrong about the people making these clothes tho. Don't like the cut of their jib
