Rayfield (rayfield@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 23-Dec-2022 11:26:30 JST Rayfield @WashedOutGundamPilot Oh dude, I use citrisurf at work for passivating stainless steel (I was originally given some stuff containing hydrofluoric acid and I said fuck no I'm not touching that).
It's good stuff, no complaints and there hasn't been any rust on the stainless parts after 4 years in a corrosive environment.
I've never seen rubber undercoating actually protect anything. It always separates from the base metal, traps water against the metal and rusts everything out while concealing the fact. Oil mist/fluid film/wurth film has never let me down.Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this.
