     @d0c40r0 Mostly just an advancement tree for brown women, asians now. Most units got handed down to strivers about 10 years back. When I was a kid, the boomers were in charge, it was basically a flight club on the gov dime. Used to let you rent 182's for maybe 40 an hour wet? That ended when the managers started creeping in, chasing away the old club boys. Now it's literally a scheme to pad resumes for affirmative action hires.

     If you ARE a member, and you're applying somewhere tight-knit, it may not behoove you to brag about membership. I've been on resume duty before, shitcanned the CAP faggots because nobody wants to fly with someone who's bureaucratic enough to survive the rules and meetings more than a year or two. I wouldn't wanna do a 3-day with a CAPfag, let alone a multi-week ferry
