     @Goalkeeper @Paultron @Shadowman311 I thought it was interesting too that he was never in any Samurai Warriors games despite the fact that Koei would cram anyone of any note into those games to pad out the roster. Alas the latest game has corrected that oversight 😓

     He also recognized talent and there are plenty of formerly no-name people who were written about extensively because they were good at what they did and legitimately helped him. The fact that Yasuke isn't one of them is telling.

     Notice also how after Nobunaga's downfall this "Samurai" isn't given a warriors death or the option of ritual suicide or even defection to the new faction. They ship his monkey ass off to a monastery to scrub floors and he is never heard from again.
