I'm thinking more of a distributed levels of trust model. In that, say a head of house could purchase phones for his family. Okay, but he gets final say on what the capabilities of the phone are and the rules e.g. screen time, app usage and installation permissions, strict VPN routing - all traffic passes through the family/company network.

Basically, an OS that allows one to do corporate style administration of their devices in the interest of protecting the organization - even from other companies and governments.

Instead of calling home, it's a fascist microstate. An autonomous entity.
