   The fact they're rolling up the infowars operation is interesting to me. Is it a case of
   
   - Low level true believers persecuting an establishment villain, not realizing he's actually of use to their religion as dual gatekeeper/noise generator
   
   or
   
   - Jones proved countereffective, despite chasing so many red herrings he inadvertantly led too many of Gen Z and A to the truth, now that their overton window has superseded his rightmost boundary, he does more harm than good

     I suspect it's a dollop of both. The bottom layers of the ZOG religious pyramid genuinely hates him without realizing he actually does more for their side than ours:

     He dellegitimizes our own views with a whole lot of bullshit and static. He makes us look like silly retards by blabbering about lizard people and space elves instead of jewish strangleholds on near every avenue of power

     They should be content that nobody capitalized on the medium like he did - imagine how much worse things would be if there were a charismatic, well-spoken, cogent man in his place instead? They'd have murdered him a dozen times over by now.

     @chainsaw_appreciator I know, that's always been the funny part. They engineered a new religion but failed to institute any codification in how they'd control it. They thought they could let the media do it in a pretty hands-off affair, but vastly underestimated how quickly der normgroid would take to social media.      @WashedOutGundamPilot Maybe a combination of the two, plus he's keeping a very specific gate; people too far to the right won't like him because he's too conciliatory to jews and fags. The boomercons that he would have any chance of diverting get swallowed up into MAGA anyways, so his narrow range of effect has evaporated.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Anyone who's entertaining and vaguely right-leaning - hell, anyone who appeals to young White guys and doesn't go out of their way to get rid of that appeal - acts as a Schelling Point around which hostile activity will naturally grow. The role of a guy like Alex Jones isn't so much to provide an encyclopedia of how the world works, but to be a cultural reference that guys can show each other to prove friendliness, or at least non-hostility. You can show an Alex Jones meme video to a group of broadly apolitical friends, and nobody can liferuin you over that if they turn out to be a fag, but you do signal that you're open to talking about certain things.
     
     This is why vidya and anime causes them to convulse the way they do. Any random guy that sets up a forum for the new weeb show of the season and doesn't go out of the way to police its politics is creating a place where 17 year old lads across the country will converge and realize they're not alone in their view of the world.
