     given that not so long ago an artist got banned because brainlet mod stated the guy's art "felt like it was made by ai" i would have put the HP ban thing at around minimum 85% possible.

     Even if it is fake, its still plausable enough to be (mostly) believable.
     reddit has never been a nice place because of moderation, and these days is esp. bad.

     Reddit is great for grave-digging old product testimonials (vs. googling it and getting only sponsored content), recreational drug use tips, and some tech products that migrated there once they found mailing lists too annoying to manage. As an artist I would wear getting banned from that place with a badge of honor
