wide body was only way those things had any fuggin handling. the 71 454 didnt even have decent brakes, either.
-
4 wheel 4-piston disc brakes in 1971? They were good for their time.
-
@MCMLXVIIOTG @KarlDahl @pepsi_man The c3 body is already pretty over the top looking, looks the best when you work with whats already there and resist the urge to go more bonkers.
That bodykit you posted would look good on a racecar, its kinda like that Spirit of 76 IMSA Corvette.
-
Never cared for the wide body treatment, but they went around corners good. If they had access to modern tire compounds back then, would they have even bothered?
-
@pepsi_man @MCMLXVIIOTG @KarlDahl Depends if the designer has a sense of taste or not. The car from Corvette Summer looks like it should belong to a 1970s black pimp with a retarded street name like Smooth Pussy or something.

This. Those fixed headlights and an L88 hood were mild custom. There's only ever been one full body kit that doesn't leave the C3 looking like it's begging to be put out of it's misery.

Thankfully I've never watched it.
We need a Don't Watch This thread.
Corvette Summer (1978).

C3 Corvettes with body kits look like ass.
