@GoodBoyUV @Turkleton FWIW the ukrainians DID have their backs broken, a whole lot of their combat infrastructure is now a hodgepodge of western stuff, so they can’t claim credit for still operating as if it’s anything but a mountain of free shit from NATO. Last estimate I heard was that they had like $20 million worth of Starlink subscriptions over there, which, at $300/mo would make a whole lot of connectivity. The russkies were naive in thinking the US wouldn’t just flood the country with logistics like every other battle. Who knows how reliant they still are on cell phone IS, seems like they could never let go of that for the first 6 months.
People are too quick to speak with authority, but the ukes got shellacked. When was the last time they sortied a full wing of blue digicam fighters? Everything I see has been small scale, that’s why they want F16s so badly now.
If anything, I think ukraine’s under performed compared to all the blabbering we heard about how badass they were going to be from years of NAVY SEAL® DELTA FORCE™ instruction. Go back to like, 2018 and you’d have FS niggers bragging about how hard the ukrainians were to the point they couldn’t wait to mop the floor with the spetznaz.
If anything all the skirmish has proved is that everyone’s a big talker, and the only one with a big stick is the guy with artillery.

I’m betting that 40 years from now they’re going to approve a few memoirs from americans at the “battle of kiev” that will go to recontexualize the whole “russians just drove in 40 miles long begging to be carpet bombed!”
Then again, they ARE that dumb. I appreciate some things about the russkies, but they’re only slightly less degenerated than we are.

They really thought that the ukes would be these tenacious war gods, slaughtering russians by the thousands all because they trained with american glowniggers. It was all hubris, detachment from reality, an everlasting projection of the glory days of easy GWOT victories.
It’s like americans utterly forgot how much damage actual combined arms can do when they’re on the receiving end. Similar to AFG, they really thought that the tali’s on the dole would spin up their aircraft and provide air support for their own. Instead, they never even took off, and let the core, highly trained, SUPER JSOC COMMANDOS™ get destroyed in a fruitless last stand.
American policy and military personnel just live in this weird, egotistical fantasy world. A century of victory has ruined their brains. Openly declaring war would probably be more effective than even the cheeseball sanctions the US levied. I see this limping along for a while, then once it’s over azov’ll go back to being demonized. Once the west digs its claws in they’ll start blaming the ukes for “extremist terror” across europe. They’ll go from heroes to villains, a white ISIS for the next phase of security state strengthening. All those nifty pieces of ordnance they got will be found throughout the EU as proof the “ukrainian nazi’s” have to change their tune in order to stay in the good graces of the “civilized” countries (which will be the highest priority for their assigned puppet leaders). All that nationalism will be demonized as low-class, crass, small minded, etc. just like ours was here.
Reconstruction will consist of inviting all the dregs of the world right onto ukraine soil to “build”, but it’s just gonna be a festival of plunder as the natives sit and wonder what the hell they even fought for.
You can’t make the kinds of deals with these giant bodies in the US without giving up a lot of privileges. They’ll give you a cool nazi badge here and there, but you’ll still get back on schedule and accept gay marriage by 2030 regardless. Nobody here wanted it either. In the end they’ll dangle whatever it takes, maybe they’ll be nice enough to grant an economic boom so everyone’s fat and comfy (while they reconstruct the gov out from under them)
