Because you did the right liberal thing. So when they want to write a polemic they specifically write the situation to be essentially unsolvable by any course of action let alone a reasonable one. Then if the target of the polemic uses illiberal values to make choices, the contrived outcome is always worst case scenario and they get to vilify and castigate the target. If they were just writing a fantasy then doing a liberalism always works out for the best, and everyone has gay sex with infinity niggers forever.

When normal people look at this they think "oh the character did the best with what they had, if not outright choosing the most reasonable and logical choice". Then the liberals have endless meltdowns and rely on copes like "media literacy" rather than just explain why they have malfunctioning brains.
