@vriska @ImperialAgent "Do not think I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill." Moreover, when Jesus does give his disciples a pass on ritual hand washing he says "It is not what enters one's mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of it." "But the things that come from the mouth come from the heart, and they defile. For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, unchastity, theft, false witness, blasphemy. These are what defile a person, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile." When He takes the time to discuss following the letter of the law vs. the spirit of the law, he specifically lists unchastity as contrary to the spirit of the law. Jesus didn't need to explicitly list homosexuality because it was universally agreed to be a sin, but it clearly falls under the umbrella of unchastity. There's a lot of very legitimate criticism of right-wing use of religion, but left-wing explicit chucking of the concept of sexual sin is entirely contrary to the teachings of Christ.

@ArdainianRight @vriska @ImperialAgent Yes, anyhow, there are specific condemnations of 'men who lay with men' and other horrendous perversions, but even barring that faggotry is vicious for being unchaste- the only correct use of the sexual impulse is within a marriage, open to new life.
Anything that isn't that is disordered- faggotry is fornication at the very least, compounded by making mockery of God's divine plan for family life.
