     @Echigo In retrospect, it's wild how many of these people infested Splatoon just because the second game was on switch. They all saw the idol groups being friendly with each other, and just assumed from their parasocial experiences and lack of real friends that everyone is gay.
     Anyways, Callie is cute and it's important to breed with inklings.

     @Echigo Utter bullshit, she was also in Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion as a musician and was referred to as female there.

     @Iffine @Cayhr The main story is barely focused on showing their characters, unlike what Splat 1, 2, and Octo expansion did for the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook.
     
     At least I can say Shiver and Frye get good fanart.

     @Cayhr @Echigo Absolutely. Deep Cut just aren't interesting. Hell, they even have a random comedy relief male fish into the mix just because they needed something to pretend like there's actual personality to them.
     Off the Hook and the Squid Sisters are much more of characters in comparison. I personally don't care as much as some for Off the Hook's designs, but they're at least still good. Squid Sisters are the best, good mix of cute and simple inkling designs.
     I'm hoping the Splatoon team can use finishing out the current storyline with 3 to do a clean wipe of the series, work from the chaotic "everything is overpowered" mess Splatoon 1 was again and shake off the cleaning crews trying to make the games more "clean" and all of this that led to creations like Deep Cut.
