     It’s okay, FWIW it happened to me back then too, the cycle punishes you at 22 but turns around at 32

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @mao_yat Except the population cohort gets smaller and smaller every generation as birth rates decline. So eventually all the older men are going to keep taking a larger and larger % of the young guy’s (similarly aged) women. I say let’s keep this fucker going, I’d love to see what happens when 70% of men 18-30 are all incels.

     @Twoinchdestroya @mao_yat I don’t like being the douche telling guys “chin up” but it DOES get much easier as your buying power improves. And in a way, I’m more hopeful for everyone NOW than I was in 2017/18. As the millies enter their 30’s, the younger girls are really seeing some nasty stuff, and it’s turning them off to that lifestyle.

     So far, in our family, we only have 2 THOTs, out of like, about 25 kids under 30. They were raised by the black sheep sister anyways, and even as far as THOTS go they’re pretty trad. The one’s been dating her BF since HS and I wouldn’t be surprised if they just get married. Another one did the same, but sadly got divorced (bc he’s a fuckin’ scrub. Spent all his time videogaming & smoking weed, I can’t blame her for tossing him)

     So truly: Chin up. TBH I’d rather be a 23 yo wife hunting today than 2017. Nobody had figured out the downsides to their new tinder drug back then.

     @Twoinchdestroya @mao_yat FWIW I got really, REALLY boned by some poor decisions I made in my early….mid….okay like all the way through my 20’s. I wasn’t always into flying for pay, I originally decided it was a good use of my money. I lucked into pretty good income for a time, but I got too comfy and just enjoyed life for too long. I didn’t buy a home, or put it into something that would maybe appreciate like my friends doing crypto in 2013. Nope, I wasted it on stupid shit like motorcycles, planes, and adventures.

     TBH I was (and still sometimes am) kinda blackpilled when that job crumbled. I’d grown too comfy and stagnant, so at like, 28 I was looking at the ruins of my life and pondering a career change into something worthwhile. Figured I’d just lean into this industry.

     So if you know you’re gonna be 30 someday then you’re probably better off than me. I think I scarcely had a plan looking more than a year ahead at any given time until I hit 28. I just accepted that things had always worked out super well for me and they always would. Instead I got humbled.
