   I turned on my PS4 again in like 4 months
   I immediately jumped when I heard it sound like a jet taking off or a car filter sucking up rocks and dust in :what:
   I'm actually glad my PC has a shitton of fans and is virtually impossible to hear :nana_thumb:

     @luithe when I built my last rig, I let myself be bullied into having a window instead of going for max sound damping. Built a silent one for a friend recently and he was genuinely astonished how quiet computers can be

     @WandererUber @luithe I still remember my Pentium III and all of the panic inducing noises it would make when it started up. I kind of miss when computers used be industrial machinery.

     @LivingSpaceStudios @luithe to some extent, it had a certain "soul" to hear floppy drives, hdds and loud fans, but overall I can't say I miss it. I just love sitting in a quiet place too much.
