I deserve BRAND NEW when I'm buying a "six figure investment collectible" for a fraction of what I'll try to sell it for in a few years! nooooo look at this overspray fucking aaaaaaaahhhhhh how could they do this"
If that sumbitch runs, it runs. Welcome to the world of buying aged, "classic" fun cars. You're buying a toy that changed hands for $300 for years, the punk ass kid learning to weld in 1984 couldn't afford to keep it factory correct, that history doesn't disappear just because boomers at barrett jackson decide a mint one is a quarter mil.
Nigger got a passable mustang that he can drive around without obsessing over, a driver. Beat it to hell and enjoy it, it's not going in a museum. I don't get guys like this, they love to park their cars more than drive them

Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks (washedoutgundampilot@poa.st)'s status on Wednesday, 22-May-2024 06:49:47 JST Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks @eee I watched it, they're buying an overprised old mustang and bitching that it's a used car. Used is used, they've gotten spoiled thinking these pieces of shit have somehow survived for 65 years in perfect condition. 40 years ago these were being traded for weed in high school parking lots, they were shitheaps then and they're shitheaps now.
Of course the fuel cap is nigged on
Of course the interior 'resto' is dogshit
*Of course everything was plucked off ebay
Mustangs were made in bulk and mistreated most of their lives, these retards are expecting the world for $38,000 - less than what an equivalent, brand new GT would run today. And it has the GALL to be like any other used car, in 2024. After what, 50% inflation in the last 4 years alone?
They'd have a point if they paid $100,000 or more, then you have a right to expect all the work has been done clean and correct - but they didn't. They acted like spoiled, greedy retards and:
- bought without a prebuy inspection
- bought sight unseen
- bought from a dealer
If they care so much about having a car done right why couldn't the buyer get off his fat old ass and check it out in person? He too cheap to pay one of these faggots a couple hundo to come with him and look it over before sending the check?
This is a good 40% of my clientele, they want a pristine, perfect collectible that's been sitting in a climate controlled hangar in an arid desert state since it rolled off the floor in 1955...and they won't pay more than 40% of KBB for it

Radians (demonsixone@poa.st)'s status on Wednesday, 22-May-2024 11:24:42 JST Radians @TeaTootler @WashedOutGundamPilot @eee Two of the best automotive engineering developments have been electronic ignition and closed loop fuel injection. Anyone that rants against either onr of those shouldn't be taken seriously.
Being able to map timing to both throttle position and rpm in a nonlinear way means compression ratios and timing can both be increased without incuring pinging.
Likewise closed loop port injection eliminated cylinder washing, oil dilution, flooding and hot starts.Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this. -
Radians (demonsixone@poa.st)'s status on Wednesday, 22-May-2024 11:24:43 JST Radians @WashedOutGundamPilot @eee I hate these guys like UTG that are stuck in this weird mindset that the 1960-70s as somehow the peak of automotive engineering. Cars from that era were shit and mostly considered disposable after 5 years.
This is why parts like the cowlings always rust out, Ford didnt see the value of spending the money painting the interior of that part when the car would have been normally in a scrapheap or wrapped around a tree long before the cowl hats rusted through.
