     @givenup @mjdigspigs this is how my fren ends up with all his dogs. Every time I see him he's got a new one, he's a clearinghouse for everything in the family

     At last count he had five or six, all supposedly "just for a while" while people moved

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @mjdigspigs well i wanted her back and my time at grandpa's house was temporary or permenant but i could ahve her back cuz once it's mine having my dog back wouldn't be an issue

     @givenup @mjdigspigs What's funny is I had a client who lived the exact same way

     he was making $650,000 a year, and basically sending it all to his new ex wife so she could bang tinder bros in his bed

     So it could be worse

     @WashedOutGundamPilot @mjdigspigs just me and my dog, still gotta finish moving out of the place i was at fully, once that's done, i can look at getting something going. i was gonna try to start a lawn mowing business, basicly just throw my number up in grocery stores and see who calls.

     @givenup @WashedOutGundamPilot @mjdigspigs It should work - I live in a smallish town of <20k and there are easily 10 different lawn crews busy around here SEVEN days a week. I even see em mowing as it’s getting dark out. If you have a pickup that can have a plow installed and you don’t mind shoveling and salting sidewalks you’ll be busy 9mo a year no problem. Step that shid up into proper landscaping/hardscaping and you can make serious $

     @givenup @mjdigspigs If you can do handyman stuff WELL then there should be plenty on word of mouth alone, particularly as a trustworthy white guy. Biggest impediment to getting things fixed for the infirm around here is that they don't want to invite brown strangers into their home
