I took a new (to me) lens to San Francisco, the Canon FD 50mm/1.4, which I haven't had a chance to test before going (which I in hindsight realized was not very wise). I shot 4 rolls of film on the trip. Eagerly awaiting the scans to come back from the lab...

So of course I'm worried that it might have affected the exposure.

But there’s still that wait when it comes to film, it’s like a scratch card. I like it. Hope your photos turn out as you wish they did.

Joe (photojoe4@mastodon.social)'s status on Wednesday, 22-May-2024 06:35:05 JST Joe @Gargron It's quite common for these to get oil on the aperture blades. Over time, the oil separates from the grease in the focusing helical and migrates onto the blades (hot weather can do this too).
