     @Turkleton I just learned that new computers just have "calming rain sounds" you can turn on and they just....play

     something kind of depressing about that, like something you'd do for monkeys at the zoo who never see the real thing

     @Turkleton One of the old guys was talking about how it comes with his aids, good for tinnitus. Then the zoomer girl said she plays the fake rain sounds all the time

     she said "it's better than real rain because it isn't depressing"

     @givenup @Turkleton I used to have the computer read operating handbooks all night, that ended when she moved in. She said she could hear it from down the hall and it was creeping her out
