     Can't just not just murder a guy who tries to steal your girl. Not all parties permitted the corruption of the relationship in the first place so it is wrong. It should be self evident via intuition and gut.
     It's not a simple love triangle where each party has strong feelings with each other, it's that one seeks malicious intent in the first place. It's more like a V that attempts to make it a |, or worst a | that just wants to make it /.
     The relationship doesn't fade naturally, the destruction is artificially created by a malicious entity and ends once the malicious entity is dead. Hence why the entity tries to brainwash the victims, to put them under the influence of drugs, lies, and ideology.
     It's a fiction that dreams if the demons win. That all marriage and relationships is subject to destruction at the will of the demons. A threesome simply can not amend the damage the malicious entity caused, and will only serve the purpose of the entity to somehow destroy the psyche, the dignity, and integrity of the humans.
     That's why one must destroy the entity at first sight without hesitation.
     To take a allegorical comparison, it is similar to Two nations brought to the brink of war by a 5th columnist party who has spite for one side, and a selfish desire to enslave the population of the other. The natural course of action is to join forces and eliminate the 5th columnist. It's clear the 5th columnist is using divide and conquer tactics, to spread lies, to make false flags, and all sorts of artificial barriers to the otherwise intimacy and close ties of the two nations. The two nations can't simply just try and befriend the malicious party for it's goals are simply antithetical to the survival of the two nations. Maybe you can try brainwashing the 5th columnist party or subjugating and imprisoning it which negates the will of the 5th columnist party.
     It is unreasonable to assume that if the 5th columnist succeeds that the destroyed nation can somehow build rapport with both the 5th columnist and the enslaved nation. The only way then is for the enslave nation to revolt and kill off the 5th columnist. After the enslaved nation can't build up good relationship with destroyed nation because of the death and destruction, it must amend in another life, over generations, not to forget what happened but to forgive and hopefully prevent it from happening again.
     It is said that Nations can be spiritually connected even married but estranged from each other by certain "Superstructure", a superficial construct, but in actuality inseparable by language, blood, shared history, actual marriages, historical trade, alliance and so forth. The nations love each other in the first place which is why fight each other when not all is right with themselves.
     Estrangement is not natural state, the natural state is marriage (idk the word)

     Naturalistic fallacy/ status quo bias, what is doesn't necessarily mean what is to be, that current state is right.
     I have to consult with AI for the next one, something like naive optimism, idealism, wishful thinking is what came up. Doesn't really adequately explain what I'm trying to say but pretty much one party is malicious, you simply can't have a threesome with that dynamic without it just being screwed up, unhealthy, ill, wrong. If someone wants ill of you and your bonds and associations there isn't any recourse but to combat that ill will and eliminate it at its source. Injustice must be corrected.
     Whereas in love triangle nobody has ill will to begin with, just confusion and communication fixes most of that. Doesn't mean people do bad things out of rash impulse and emotion with others relationships. That situation can be amended and bad actions can be thought of a accidents caused by misunderstanding.
