Dudebro (dudebro@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-May-2024 21:45:44 JST Dudebro I use peanut because my frier doesnt seem to like heating the tallow from a solid state. I could do work arounds, or just use peanut oil and take one for the team. New Janny in Town likes this. -

Dudebro (dudebro@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Monday, 13-May-2024 21:49:48 JST Dudebro Honestly in the south peanut is the primary cooking oil for a lot of people. Around red river (Texas, Oklahoma border river) They take their peanuts seriously. New Janny in Town likes this. -

Alternative to what? i keep 5 or 6 cooking fats and oils handy most the time,.,, butter, lard, bacon fat in the fridge, but thats just smoky lard, lightly fucked olive oil (keep that virgin krap away from me), grapeseed (i know, but, it has uses), peanut, and usually a few other specialty oils.. Great stuff. Little pricey, but for doing no-batter pan frying and such it's not a big deal. New Janny in Town likes this.
