the dodge neon is still better than the Chevy Cavalier, a car where the interior screams "ex soviet". No really, the seats are made from carpet on some trims.
I mean Cavaliers are what, the USA version of an ex-soviet car? Somehow they're "pieces of shit" that somehow keep running in the hands of a crackhead or alcoholic as long as you don't crash them.
You can't say the same about newer Nissans with CVT transmissions or the newer Chevies with engine failures like the Sonic.
@PhenomX6@verita84@bot Looks more like generic 00s car interior, though I might be biased due to my location. Somewhat reminiscent of Chevrolet Niva. image.png
Most generic 00s cars weren't as bland or depressing, even American cars or GM cars.
The thing with the Cavalier was, it was cheaper than even 00s GM cars were somehow interior wise. GM tried to sell it in Japan as a Toyota and nobody bought it. No really.
On the other hand, GM made the Saturn cars in the 90s, and in typical GM fashion they just replaced them with "world car" platforms. They had the infamous plastic bodies and engines/transmissions shared with no other GM product.
They were also so much better that they wound up a victim of internal GM politics.
@PhenomX6@verita84@bot Don't know, most of the right-wheeled cars I've seen looked mid to late 00s. There is a tax, but some avoid it by registering a car in Abkhazia and driving with their plates.
