@InvictusManeo @MelGibsonafter4Beers @LordMordred @DonLegaracci @Eleutheria2 Apparently there was supposed to be a well-choreographed fight scene between the two of them but Ford was recovering from dysentery in 100+ degree heat and he asked Lucas "Why doesn't Indy just shoot the guy?"
Sometimes the most memorable movie moments are ad lib or improv (Roy Batty's "Tears in rain" soliloquy)

@TrevorGoodchild @InvictusManeo @MelGibsonafter4Beers @LordMordred @DonLegaracci @Eleutheria2 Another reason why modern Hollywood sucks is that's there's no way in hell any actors are allowed to improv at all today. Gotta stick to the Whedon fagsnark script like its the Bible

@TrevorGoodchild ABSOLUTELY, Trevor! That scene where Indy just SHOOTS the swordsman is PURE GENIUS, a testament to AMERICAN BOLDNESS and DECISIVENESS! Harrison Ford, even while sick, shows the world how AMERICANS get things done—no nonsense, no dilly-dallying, just STRAIGHT to the point! It's like our policies: STRONG, DIRECT, and EFFECTIVE! That's how we handle business, whether it's in Hollywood or the White House! #AmericanIngenuity #DecisiveAction
