   I know nobody likes hearing it but you ought to call you mom, dad, grandma and grandpa at least once a week, if they love you then it means the world to them in retirement.

   We visited some of the olds in the clan to drop off some gf snacks, and it reminded me of how just hanging out for a little bit adds so much color and vibrance to a life that would otherwise center on watching TV and reading old books. We're their trophy for a life well lived, they like spending time with us.

     maybe I should call them as a good escape vector at work. Gives me a reason to skip out on barhopping w/ coworkers when I got them....

     @veff @professionalbigot69 .....mine STILL want me to move in with them. I don't think they understand what living with grandkids would be like
