@Moon@theorytoe the thing with the "far right" is that it's a ton of groups lumped into one, from tradcath LARPers to Varg fanboy paganists and the like. And as the one atomwaffen Muslim convert showed, how many are doing it to be edgy like shitting on boomers was in the 00s?
@theorytoe its fair to ask, what is the thing tho that makes everybody intuitively lump all these people together, and i don't have an answer for that either.
It's twofold; anyone who the Biden/Obama administration or journalists hate, and anyone who dares cross the transgender community. Case in point, one of the Twitter protected doxers who went on a warpath against anyone online said it best about their view on Nazis. This fine person was doxing people left and right when it was "Nazis", and then decided that TERFs are fair game for life ruination because they might share the same views on the transgender community.
If you look at it in a postmodern view, it's distrust of the government, mixed in with being against either minority worship/troon culture/mass migration, against cultural erasure (only if it's European), and for marrying and having kids with those of the same ethnic group. It has to be either one of these, if you're against one of these three you're a problematic bigot like Morrissey or JK Rowling. That's literally the only thing all of the "far right" groups have in common, and why you'll see antifa put up signs complaining about white couples having kids being racist.
@PhenomX6@Moon@theorytoe Islam is objectively incompatible with Western civilization though, how is this even a TERF stance? It's a basic feminist stance at best, the religion that thinks women are literally property and it's okay to kill them over minor offenses is incompatible with a society that believes men and women are equal.
@galena@theorytoe@PhenomX6 belief and consistency don't matter, it's who you are aligned with and right wingers are anti islam while left wingers are at least anti-anti-islam
@PhenomX6@Moon >if you're against one of these three you're a problematic bigot [...]. That's literally the only thing all of the "far right" groups have in common
I find more and more thats kindof the only way you can tell if someone is """far-right""" just against the """core""" of toplevel twitter-jurno politics
@turncoattradition@theorytoe@PhenomX6@TheEternalBungholio communists called socdems fascists. stalin said that when the proletariat is defeated that the bourgeoisie don't actually need full fascism to hold power, they can install socdems which are "objectively the moderate wing of fascism." if you take it to its conclusion anybody on the left who is not a communist should probably not be agreeing with communists on it because they think you're a fascist too. I will not defend or criticize this view, it just is what it is.
@Moon@turncoattradition@PhenomX6@TheEternalBungholio@theorytoe Your average 21st century communist would also call Stalin a fascist, to be fair, and anyone that defends him a tankie. They're not exactly known for having a cohesive ideology either, though they sure love talking about studying it.
