     I said it a while ago, on another instance that has since gone away, but the fedi does not build brand like the algo sites do.

     @amerika @bot Fedi will always be an underground network. Which I see as good, keeps an important aspect of old Internet culture alive, which is the high quality of users. Very few retards inhabit these spaces.

     Trends can peak. There was a huge growth as people fled Twitter, but now they are realizing they were victims of a media blitz.
     
     On top of that, the mainstream fediverse is so in love with censorship that there is no point moving to it from big corporate social media.
