   I don’t disagree, was the basic point. I just disagree w/ the bapist ideology when it’s used as a cope, which is what I see IRL. I don’t mind diversity in the ideological spectrum but I’d rather everyone here pump out 5 white sons, since they’re far more likely to be yamnayan warlords than we are.

   Every time I get back to my home field and see the fuel truck kid asking if I read bronze age mindset I’m bummed, because it seems like a palliative thing he tells himself to sit in place and spin his wheels forever. “I’m not a careerless, stagnating loser! I’m actually a warlord in waiting, once everything crumbles you’ll see I’m actually a man of history!”

   I do disagree w/ the idea that fatherhood precludes action, though. People have a gay idea of what it means - I grew up doing adventures w/ mine even as a tiny kid, it’s part of why I seemed old all my life. You can still follow your dreams and sail across the pacific with the family in tow
