   What’s interesting is that the few small turbine helos on the market are almost always powered by the Solar T62, a little turbine w/ about 180 hp (IIRC) that was pulled off of the…..seaking or the chinook, can’t remember which, but it was originally used as an APU instead of an actual thrust engine. It’s still kind of a mark of pride to own a fancy turbine helicopter, even if the smaller turbo piston engines are edging them out on efficiency AND performance.

   Then you have stuff like this, just using an old ass IO540. But at least it uh….has fuel injection? FANCY
