   So what should you do? Some guys are willing to gay it up with emojis, leaning into the fact that they provide a synthetic face to provide tone to textual ccommunication (the exact thing women need to feel secure and sure of what you’re saying (niggling 20% paranoia aside).

   Others say “well add an extra letter like “okayyy have funn” which….IDK I haven’t seen that much but I haven’t dated brown women so it’s out of my purview. Maybe the easiest would be to add an exclamation mark. It’s basically telling her you’re enthused, positive, optimistic.

   I wouldn’t text this, not worth the trouble, I’d probably tamp the ‘okay’ down w/ something like a request to check-in a couple times if she’s out in public after dark. (these days we tend to send one of the family boys with the women- no longer safe to just send our girls out in a pack alone)
