The top and sub speakers of the Free & Open Rave Technology sound system prototype. Both are bright pink. The top has a beveled steel mesh grill screwed into transparent rubber spacers while the sub has a grill that goes a few centimeters around the sides and is screwed in through pieces of rubber tape in the hope those will seal the screw holes against water.

The speakers of the FORT prototype are now painted bright pink for hopefully at least some protection against water and had some custom grills added.
The one on the woofer might rattle a bit (will have to test), but the ones on the tops are resting on rubber pads and I even managed to add some bevel to them to make some space for the membrane moving forward.
First field test probably tomorrow afternoon at Camp++. :3
