   @d0c40r0 @GLObalMARinePR I had that fight w/ my parents when my sister didn’t wanna go, she already had her husband mostly picked out and felt it was a waste of money. The parents were very opposed to not sending her, no matter how much the boys pointed out how often it went wrong with their friends’ kids.

   It’s just funny how they were saying “okay but she needs a backup plan, we need to spend $60,000 on a degree she’ll never use for a job that pays $32,000 a year”

   I don’t plan on sending my daughters off to college, if they wanna go they can live at home and commute to school. Shipping kids away is too dangerous, it’s like removing all the supports on a concrete wall before it’s had a chance to set
